Escape From Tarkov Regulated Materials Quest Details
Regulated Materials Quest Dialogue
Come on in, warrior! Still breathing aye? Good to hear. Here’s a task for you. There’s this customer, showed up outta nowhere with an urgent order and the b**** wants specific equipment, the one our glorious mother Russia produced, and my heart aches that the good of the state has to be sold to whoever. Judging by the accent, the f*cker is from abroad. But the cash is noble and the connections he provides are no joke. Anyway, you need one military battery, the heavy one, and several OFZ shells. I feel you’ll have to sneak on the military base for it… The place is inhospitable, I know, but you won’t regret it when the checkout time comes. Plus, I’ll provide you with a special gift for this. Will you take the risk?
Objectives
- Find 6-Sten-140-M military battery in raid
- Hand over the military battery
- Find 5 OFZ 30x160mm shells in raid
- Hand over the OFZ shells
Rewards
- Unlocks the purchase of Ash-12 12.7×55 assault rifle from Prapor
- +14800 XP
- +0.02 reputation with Prapor
- ~170,000 Roubles
Reward Dialogue
Now that’s the good stuff! Heavy as h***, yeah? So anyway, I keep my word about the reward, check out the new rifles I have…
Guide
Regulated Materials is one of those quests that will most probably take place at Reserve or Lighthouse because of the Military Battery. The quest requires you to find the items in raid, and that’s what makes the quest tricky.
The only precincts in Tarkov that have a Military Battery spawn are Reserve and Lighthouse. On the contrary, the OFZ shells can be crafted in the hideout in Workbench level 3, so they aren’t hard to deal with.
1x OFZ Shell Crafting Materials
- 2x Gunpowder “Hawk”
- 1x Gunpowder “Eagle”
- 2x TP-200 TNT brick
- 1x Can of thermite
With that said, good luck on your journey of finding a Military Battery. I’d say the best place to get it is Reserve, since it has multiple spawns and it doesn’t have Rogues and the Military Batteries can spawn on relatively safe places.

I am ANGE1K. I started playing video games a long time ago. In a blink of an eye, I became a hardcore gamer. A couple of years later, I traversed to the professional Counter-Strike 1.6 scene. After the competitive ERA, I managed to find the gaming industry amusing and started working on FGR. 8 years after founding FGR, my mission remains the same. That is to discover secrets within the gaming industry, create guides for all the games I play, and provide you with some important news. Oh, yeah, I post tons of patch notes too.Currently stuck in WoW with high M+ keys, Tarkov, a bit of Gray Zone Warfare, Dota 2, and CS2.P.S. Last time I counted how many hours I've spent in video games turned out to be 13+ years. And that was a long time ago too. Almost 24/7 in front of PC.
