Takes place during season three, though the prologue takes place in season one. Xenoia Elite is a female predacon. A queen, or former queen. She lost her title when her former mate Alpha Crimson lost to his brother Predaking. So she and Alpha Crimson left for Earth, to get away from their past. So that their hatchlings or sparklings could grow up without war. But things don't go as planed when they crash land in the Arctic. Alpha Crimson perished in the crash. But Xenoia survived with three of their egg capsules.
She buried Crimson with honour, before using the last of her strength to encase her and her eggs in a protective membrane before falling into stasis, awaiting for warmer weather. Deep in an energon mine she had discovered.
(Prologue - Out of his Head: Awakening) Third Persons POV
Xenoia Elite's senses detect the rising temperature as Starscream starts to melt the glacier. To try and reach the mine she & her egg capsules are in. Arcee, Bulkhead and Optimus arrive to try stop Starscream. "A lot different than our last polar visit. It feels like summer" Arcee states.
"Here, that's a bad thing" Bulkhead states as they look at the decepticon warship. As a powerful wave of sun light fires from it to the ground. Making a steam clouds as the ice melts.

She nuzzles them and hears the faint cries of the hatchlings inside. She feels the rising temperature and looks up. She growls lowly as the decent glow above. Something threatens her hatchlings. She picks them up one by one and takes them deeper into the mine.
Meanwhile above ground Arcee and Bulkhead look up at Optimus for instructions. "Autobots. Remember the end run on Polyhex?" he asks them. They nod and go get into position as Optimus starts to climb the mountain behind the Nemesis. It's his job to destroy the lens while the other two distract the decepticons.
"I'm in position" Optimus comms Arcee and Bulkhead. Arcee nods at Bulkhead, they transform and speed towards the Nemesis. Where Strscream and Knockout are on the flight deck watching the lens melt the ice.
"Yes! I love when a plan comes together" Starscream says happily. That's when he spots Arcee and Bulkhead. "Autobots" he sneers.
"Please, lord Starscream, allow your second-in-command the honor" Knockout tells him. "Breakdown, total them!" he orders. Pointing to Arcee and Bulkhead. Breakdown jumps off of the ship and starts to fight both autobots.
Below ground, Xenoia hears a fight above with her advance hearing and snarls. Who dares awaken her when it is not warm enough for her hatchlings? She goes to the wall and starts to dig towards the surface.
Meanwhile Arcee and Bulkhead are still fighting Breakdown. While Knockout and Starscream watch. As the lens continues to melt the think layer of ice. While Optimus continues his climb towards the ship.
Inside the ship Ratchet and Raf are trying to save Bumblebee. And stop Megatron from returning to his former body. But fail as Megatron stands from the berth fully recovered. "Decepticons. Your rightful lord and master has returned. Finish these pests! I have my own extermination to perform" he states. Leaving the eradicons to deal with Raf, Ratchet and Bumblebee.
Outside Optimus reaches the top of the mountain and transforms. He speeds towards the ship and jumps a natural ice ramp onto it. He transformed and grabbed the edge pulling himself up. Decepticons still haven't notice him, to focused on Arcee and Bulkhead. As they continue to fight with Breakdown. "I'm gonna put you on ice!" Breakdown yells as he clashes with Bulkhead. Sending a powerful gust of wind through the air, making the ground shake.
Below ground Xenoia feels the ground shakes and pauses her digging. Fearing there could be a cave in and worrying about her young below. She needs to decide what's more important, getting to the surface to see what's going on or going back to protect her young from falling rubble. She decides to head back down, even though she is already half way to the surface.
Meanwhile above Knockout finally notices the missing autobots. "Don't the bots seem. Understaffed?" he asks Starscream. Just then they hear an engine of an approaching vehicle. They turn to see Optimus is vehicle mode speeding towards them.
"What good is a second-in-command who fails to watch the rear?!" Starscream demands. He kicks the eradicon off of the heat laser, jumping into the control chair. He enters some coordinates into the console and the laser changes direction. It hits Optimus who transforms. He endures the heat long enough to destroy the lens, lead to the destruction of the weapon. Sending out ashock wave.
Below ground, Xenoia shields her egg capsules from falling rubble as the cavern shakes around them. When the tremors end she sees the light above has disappeared and feels the temperature slowly dropping. She sighs in relief, is the danger over? She looks at her egg capsules under her wing, non are damaged thank Primus.
Above ground, Megatron stops Starscream from ending Optimus. And starts to beat him. Before ordering the ship to leave the area as he drags Starscream inside. Meanwhile Ratchet, Bumblebee and Raf who escaped the ship. Joined the other three autobots and they all return to base. Neither the autobots or decepticons knew what they had awaken below ground. What will happen to Xenoia and her hatchlings now? Will they survive? What happens when Preadking finds them? Will they join the decepticons or not?
