Tom was the crew chief on a C-47 transport plane in World War l1 and proud member of the 9th Air Corpa, 438th Troop Carrier Group, 87th Squadron. He participated in the invasion of Sicily, Normandy and Holland, dropped elements of the 101st on D. Day and resupplied the 101st at Bastogne, He was the recipient of seven Air Medals. Tom was a proud graduate of East Tech in 1942. After the war, he met and married Ruth and together they founded Bellard Studios uh which painted murals in several Cleveland area buildings and churches.

Later, Tom worked as a lithographer until he retired in 1985. Then, he took up woodcarving winning several competitions and awards locally and nationally. As widower, Tom met Florence and they spent their time traveling the world and the United States. Edwin was born August 3, 1917 in Willoughby, Ohio to Fredrick and Anna DURSCHLAG (Saurwein) Durschlag. A graduate of Troy High School, Edwin attended Hiram College and was a graduate of Oblo State University. He was an accomplished carpenter and home contractor. Edwin was an avid Barbershop Quartet and chorus member for over 50 years.

Edwin enjoyed gardening and basketball, both as a participant in his early years and as an enthuslastic fan in his later life. A member of St. Edward's Church in Parkman, Ohio, he also belonged to the Knights of Columbus. Edwin is survived by his wife of 18 years, Regina Sodo; his chitdren, Susan (David) Corlett of Albany, NY, and Cynthia (Gregory) Bachelor of Riverview, FL; grandchildren, James (Susan) Corlett, Andrew Corlett, Ryan Batchelor and Patt! hearted and beautiful woman, died Monday evening, September 15, 2014. Jane suffered a brief illness related to vascular disease while In Morgantown, WV with her daughter and family. Born July 26, 1936, Jane Clarke Bender, to Harold C. Bender and Harriette Clarke Bender, she was raised In Albany, NY. She graduated from Union University School of Nursing In Albany, earned her B.S.

In nursing from Syracuse University, and her M.S. in nursing at Boston College. Jane then taught at several academic institutions, including Boston College and Ursuline College. For the past 30 years, Jane lived in Brecksville and Broadvlew Heights, OH, where she developed many close friendships and became a member of St. Basil's church.

Jane will be remembered as a remarkable women. She worked hard to provide for her family, and she was filled with an unyielding spirit for life and a deep love for her friends and famIly. Jane was married to Barry Gentzler from 1967-1994 and had two children Michael and Amy. A devoted mother and grandmother, Jane was most content when she was with her family, especially her two young grand-daughters. Jane is survived by her son, Michael Gentzier and her daughter, Amy Gentler, their spouses, Jennifer Cox and Michael Wendell, and her two grandchildren Sarah and Erally Wendell.
